The bathroom is more than a place for hygiene - it is our personal oasis where we leave stress behind and recharge. Not surprisingly, the most important accessory in this ritual is the towel: it must be so absorbent that it dries the body instantly, gentle enough not to irritate the skin, and durable enough to retain its softness after dozens of washes. The Bath & Spa Towel Collection by Artistic covers all three criteria without compromise, because it is made of 100 % long-staple cotton with a fine, fluffy texture and is hand sewn in our studio in Dobrich.
No rough touch - we use only premium long-staple cotton, whose thread is naturally soft and silky smooth. The stitches are low twisted (low-twist) to create a cloudy fluffiness suitable even for baby or atopic skin.
Hypoallergenic composition - No synthetic fibers, formaldehyde, heavy metals or harsh softeners. Each fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 - Class Iwhich means absolute safety for direct contact with sensitive skin.
Longer threads mean fewer edges protruding from the fabric surface - the result is a noticeably gentler touch and less "dragging"/scratching of the epidermis. In addition, long-fibre cotton forms a natural sheen and stays fluffy for much longer.
High absorption from first use - special priming treatment washes the natural waxes from the surface of the fibres, so the towel absorbs as much as possible after the first wash.
320-550 g/m² density - the golden mean between "spa luxury" and "quick dry". The lighter towels (320 g) are ideal for sports and the pool, while the heavier ones (450-550 g) offer a hotel-like feel for a snug hug.
Capillary effect - The low twisted stitches act as minicanals that "suck" water out of the skin and distribute it over the surface for faster evaporation.
Practical test: put a teaspoon of water on the towel. If the liquid is absorbed in under 2 seconds, then the fibers are well opened and ready to go - exactly what you'll see in the models of the Artistic.
